The premieres continue next month, as percussionist Andy Eldridge debuts a movement of a suite for clarinet and marimba that he commissioned from me.
Lots to look forward to this spring!
I've been extremely fortunate to have several outstanding premieres this month--two by large ensembles (Ave Maria by the TCU Concert Chorale and an arrangement of Walz by the TCU Cello Ensemble featuring all of the guests from TCU's annual Cellofest) as well as the short song Mockingbird by soprano Angela Turner Wilson. I was able to attend the premiere of the choir piece and song, and both were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the cello ensemble performance, so I'm eagerly awaiting a recording, but I understand that went extremely well as well. I can't wait to share these recordings with the world!
